Human: Version 2: I've updated the cord wrap after several weeks of use, fine-tuning its design. The ears on both sides are now shorter, allowing a wrapped cord to clear with ease when wound around. Originally, there was some space in the design that worked well even when bent, but not so much when straightened, bumping into things. I've also modified the cutouts, opting for a horizontal cutout instead of an angled one for the AC power cord. This cleaner lock-in secures the cord more effectively than before, allowing you to wrap the DC cable around it for added security. Check out the picture of the print in clear TPU. I've printed Version 2 in TPU as well, and I highly recommend printing it at 100% or even 99% scale to achieve a perfect fit. Version 1: My new Acer laptop arrived with an extremely basic AC/DC adapter and only a small wire-organizing clip. This created a messy situation when moving around with the device. To address this, I designed a slim, two-part adapter that requires minimal material and has low weight. Simply push it onto either end of the adapter for a friction fit without needing rubber bands, zip ties, or glue. Then, wrap the cord around the adapter inside the "ears" and clip on the AC power end into a cutout. The DC end has its own clip to secure the wire, so no cutout is necessary. Using calipers, I measured for a snug fit, recommending you print it 1-2% larger in size (2% for extra safety). This model requires supports all around and prints best on its side for optimal layer lines. The original design features straight ears, but you can bend them inward with a heatgun for a more compact shape. Be sure to trim and sand the ear cutouts for the AC cord so it doesn't abrade the plastic wire covering.
