Ace rudder pedals
thingiverse
This rudder pedals are designed with the mechanism similar to the virpil ace rudders. i liked the slick profile of it soo i reversed engineered from pictures of the virpil pedals. its similar but my own design soo the parts are not interchangeable. the base and the pedal is remixed from Vince_Prints's cadet pedals. i modified it to suit my needs and changed come of the parts for ease of printing. all moving parts uses bearings of different sizes to minimise friction. a damper can be added for better feel but it is optional. This design uses hall sensors for all its axis. For the main arms and the secondary arms, it is best to get it CNC cut from aluminium for strength. personally i got the secondary arms CNC cut by JLCpcb from FR4 and the arms are laser cut plywood reinforced with carbon fibre. This is a trade off for having it look less bulky in my opinion.
