AccuRite Hygrometer Magnetic holder for dry box
thingiverse
Remixed juchong's AccuRite hygrometer mount to use magnets instead of screws. His design fits the hygrometer perfectly so it was easy to revise the posts to accept magnets. This allowed me to place the hygrometer anywhere on the lid, which is nice because some of my spools sit higher than others. Also don't have to worry about air/moisture leaking in. Magnets used: Rare earth magnets from Harbor Freight (8mm wide x 2mm high) https://www.harborfreight.com/10-piece-rare-earth-magnets-67488.html?_br_psugg_q=rare+earth+magnets (Edit: I would suggest getting stronger magnets. The size is great but the holder flys off if you take the cover off with too much gusto.) AccuRite Hygrometer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HDW58GS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Printing: Infill: Doesn't matter, I used 15%. Supports: I used build plate only supports in Prusa Slicer. Worked great. Fliament used with 15% infill and 0.2 quality: 23.5g If using the Harbor Freight magnets, they will be press fit, no need for glue.
