Accu-Chek Insight belt case
thingiverse
As there doesn't seem to be any belt/clip-case available for the Accu-Chek Insight, I simply remixed the Arm-case from efrost and adjust it for my needs. I don't need to touch my pump during the day - it is controlled by DBLG1-Loop - so I could reduce operability to a minimum. What I need: a small case with option to add a belt-clip, to wear the pump just in my waistband or clip it to the pocket. I remixed the Arm-Case, wiped the cap, reduced some material at the top of the case and added a kind of crossbar to prevent the pump from falling over. I personally like the medtronic-clips (...and still had a spare one from my last pump), so I decided to add some holes, drill those holes through the medtronic-clip and put in two rivets to mount the clip. Maybe some strong glue would be sufficient too (best option to mount the medtronic-clip would sure be to use it's own mounting-system, but I'm not skilled enough to CAD that...if you can, or if you have some STL of the Pump-mounting-Part of the 640G-Clip -> just enhance my model!). Feel free to mount any clip you like (steel-clip, hook, tac-lock...). The pictures show the way I personally like it and use it. You'll have to try a bit about the scaling - I wanted the case to be that tight, that there's no need to fix the pump adding some rubber-bands or something. I mustn't be too tight - nobody wants to scratch their pump!
