When I replaced a broken glass ceiling fan light shade, the original spacer was too tall to allow the bottom threaded piece to screw on, I had to print another spacer. The pull chain was also rubbing on the glass, and I figured it would wear on the glass over time, so I printed a piece for it too. Replacement shade is a "4.38-in x 12.63-in Globe Alabaster Glass Ceiling Fan Light Shade with 2-1/4-in-Setcrew fitter", see https://www.lowes.com/pd/Litex-4-38-in-x-12-63-in-Alabaster-Glass-Bell-Lamp-Shade/3281048. Ceiling fan is a Hunter 20729 50" 5-Minute Fan Brushed Nickel, see https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hunter-50-5-Minute-Fan-Brushed-Nickel/1267353. I used CA glue to adhere the pull chain piece. Designed with tinkercad, see: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/d5uMlePccml-ceilingfanglassspacer and https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2kXDbWk3Lqr-fanchainguide I also placed rubber feet on the bottom of the metal part above the glass.
