Simply slide the top cap into place and you're ready to go - using the clamps without the FS-guide-rail is just like working with any traditional forged clamp. My own experience with my clamps was that they arrived without protective pads on the eccentric pad, resulting in unwanted imprints on softer wood. To solve this issue, I created my own PLA pads which fit perfectly into place. These custom pads need to be heated slightly before application and, once fitted, won't come off easily - a welcome improvement over some original caps. Feel free to modify or adjust the Rhino .3dm file if needed, whether it's for compatibility with your specific printer settings or to create new variations.
