Stairway (6,200x900 mm HxW), for access to the trapdoor / hatch on the top of modular water tank, this time on the coal mining site (Tweefontwein, Mpumalanga), using off-the shelf standardised stair rungs (hot-dip galvanised carbon steel round bars & strips as "RS40B" standard grating, with non-slip nose); when comparing the photo with the 3d model, it's immediately visible the difference in handrails- those are not done to my design (contiguous pipes)- bit safer to use, but more expensive to make (cutting & bending the pipe in situ): in the end, contractor had their own wayAs always, designed in compliance with South Africa Institute for Steel Constructions...
