Accesoires for Photon Printer
thingiverse
Pictures will follow shortly--I finally found time to build my own Photon Printer, great design by the way http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:902826. During the construction process, I encountered some minor problems and created replacement parts and additional items. Unable to obtain corflute, I designed a cover to print along with attachments like a handle, connector, etc. It should be easy to adjust it to your specific dimensions by simply scaling the y-axis in your slicing software. To accommodate my laser driver and control into the case, I couldn't put the switch on the left side, so I made a simple cover. As I'm powering the driver with 12v, I don't need the plug for the Arduino, so to avoid putting the plug into the wrong socket, I made a cover for the Arduino socket as well. My DVD carriage is lying deep between the two rods, so a plate for covering the distance helps level the working plate. For easy fixing and aligning of the blank material, I made a magnetic bracket system. With these parts, my Photon Printer works fine and is easy to handle.
