A mock-up of an electronic accelerator pedal features a Microtechnologies sensor and main components made of injection-molded plastics secured with three screws. This assembly connects to the firewall using four bolts. The pedal has a steel axle and is housed in DU bushings for enhanced reliability. The potentiometric sensor is located in a small pocket on the side, held by a steel spring and fastened with two additional bolts.
