Acceleration Amulet

Acceleration Amulet

thingiverse

This is a small electronic module housed in an amulet-like enclosure that can display any color depending on its location or the force acting upon it at any given time. The amulet, when worn, will show different colors and flicker in response to the wearer's movement. It was designed as a fashion accessory for confident individuals who enjoy standing out at parties and similar events. However, tech enthusiasts may also find it appealing. It uses an MMA8451 acceleration sensor, an Adafruit Trinket microcontroller, a 12-LED Neopixel ring, and a 250mAh lithium-ion battery. Unfortunately, after loading the library for the MMA8451, there is hardly any room left in the Trinket's memory for custom code. Even a simple start-up effect may not be possible due to the limited byte count. For more complex programs like a brake light, it is recommended to use a Pro Trinket instead. However, this will not fit in the enclosure.
