Note that the picture I posted of my own cover is the version 1 prototype, and it has a gap between the cover and the top cover of the supply, exposing the screw terminals. The attached STL and SCAD files (version 2) have the front edge of the cover raised up 10mm, and completely covers the screw terminals. I could have printed off another bracket instead, but chose to simply cover up the gap with electrical tape instead. I've been recommending the Mean Well LRS-350 power supply as a low-cost, safe/reliable replacement for the cheap/questionable "S-240" power supply that comes on the Anet A8. Here's an inlet/cover design that makes using it a bit easier. The power supply slides into the cover, and is held onto the supply with two M4 x 6mm flat head screws that screw into the side mounting holes of the supply. There's one "DC outlet" hole on the rear of the cover, which aligns perfectly with a hole in the frame of the A8. This cover holds a typical snap-in, fused/switched IEC inlet module that you can find all over eBay and aliexpress. Before you snap it into the cover, solder and heatshrink (highly recommended) all of the required AC wiring onto the IEC inlet, because once you snap the inlet into the cover, it will be extremely difficult to remove, and very hard to access the solder joints with an iron. This design uses about 75 grams of filament when printed with 30% infill and a 1mm outer shell, but trust me, the extra plastic is well worth it.
