The Larson Electronics DCP-5-DP Waterproof Power Supply is an efficient 100-277VAC to 12VDC @5 Amps converter with a straight blade input plug and a Deutsch connector output end, enabling users to run LED lights and HID Golights on AC power sources. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the IP64-rated unit features short circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection, making it ideal for Larson Electronics' 12VDC LED light bars, Golights, and other equipment. Operating within a wide input voltage range of 100 to 277 VAC, the DCP-5-DP converts AC power to 12VDC at 5 amps or 24VDC at 2.5 amps with an 85% conversion efficiency and UL 1310 Class 2 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 223-M91 ratings. Its compact design, weighing less than one pound, allows for easy mounting with two conventional screws, making it perfect for locations where 12VDC power is not readily available. Note that this converter may not be suitable for HID Golight Spotlights (GL-3XXXH-X models).
