This design targets monkey mods spring and likely also the stock katana mag spring as well. The main idea behind this concept was to eliminate the follower guide by making the follower longer instead. This results in reduced dart capacity and a follower that rises too high but frees up the main body for uniform thickness, hopefully making the mag even stronger. The side plate requires super-gluing only, while the bottom cover is removable (thanks to its design) to allow easy spring changes or lube additions if needed. Finally, the holes at the back of the mag provide a feature that lets players check their dart count discreetly but makes it challenging for enemy players to see how many darts they have left.
