Absorption chiller for cold room
grabcad
An ammonia-based prototype absorption chiller utilizes solar parabolic concentrators to heat diathermic oil within its heat exchanger generator. The condenser and absorber rely on cooling tower water for temperature regulation. Inside the evaporator, a solution of ethylene glycol is cooled to -8°C, then sent to an air-refrigerated cold room. A microcontroller in the control panel oversees and manages system operations.
