ABS print coated with molten metal!

thingiverse

An ABS print of a charming girl's face underwent an experimental arc spraying process with molten zinc using California Metal Spray (http://californiametalspray.com). This technique, similar to MIG welding, involves two zinc wires arcing off each other and depositing molten metal droplets via air jet onto the workpiece. Despite being primarily used for metals, skilled operators can apply it on various materials including ABS prints. The arc spray also supports metals like bronze, stainless, and carbides. Imaginatively, a thick layer of sprayed metal could potentially melt away the ABS print, leaving just a metallic shell behind.
