ABS Glue Stand - IMPROVED
thingiverse
These needle tip plastic bottles, resistant to acetone, can be purchased in the US from Joanne Fabric store by Darice company. A package contains six bottles at $2.99 each. I designed a stand for these bottles, measuring 150mm in length and printed on a Printrbot Plus. Instructions are available on the instruction tab for making glue. An update to the design has been made after use revealed shallow bottle wells which led to instability. The walls of the bottle wells have now been increased, and a handle added for better stability. To make glue, print the stand, fill half-full with acetone and cut-up same color filament pieces. Leave for 30 minutes, shake, and ABS-colored glue is produced. The needle tips help in precise glue application. Label the bottles, and attach four feet to the bottom of the stand for stability.
