This ABS fume reducer fits into the MK6+ extruder frame and, when sealed with tape, creates a vent hood. The filter decreases ABS fumes by 80-90%, while the hood efficiently captures fumes; however, some may escape through the charcoal filter due to its coarse nature. The tubing, sourced at home improvement stores, is sized between 30-31mm in diameter. Note that the filter holder and tube connector are close to the TOM's print limits, so you may need to make adjustments to your printer frame. A 12V fan (91.5mm square) from an old PC is used for powering, sourced from a spare TOM connector. The current filter consists of three pet store litterbox layers; future gen2 versions will utilize finer-grained mediums while maintaining the vent hood design.
