ABS Anet A8 fan shroud (Anti-warp measure)
thingiverse
I had thought I nailed my warp issues until I started my first long print with ABS, it failed around 15 hours in. Upon investigation, the problem was pinpointed to tiny wind coming from extruder cooling fan. This shroud directs that air upwards and solves the issue. Secure this shroud with hot glue or adhesive of choice - ABS glue, CA glue, epoxy, whatever works best for you. Feel free to drill and add rivets/screws/bolts instead; it's up to your preference. Install this shield on whichever side your fan blows to, or on both sides for extra safety. The axis should retain all printing area even with both sides done. This part is designed specifically for Anet A8 Gen 2 (Motherboard text: "v1.5") but it should work on other printers like Prusa I3/Tronxy etc. You can print this shield in almost any orientation. The print itself doesn't take long and uses a minimal amount of filament.
