On a fantastic Saturday, I visited The Art Institute of Chicago with Tom Burtonwood and scanned an amazing sculpture using the Sense Scanner. One of the captivating scans we took is showcased here. To learn more about this magnificent piece of art, check out its details below. The original file from the scanner is named "Lincoln.obj," while a cleaner version named "Lincoln_Scan_Fixed.stl" has been sized down for printing purposes. The sculpture was crafted by American artist Daniel Chester French in 1916 and later cast in bronze. It measures 83.8 cm (33 in.) in height, and its base bears an inscription stating "Daniel C French / March 1916." This masterpiece belongs to the Arthur Rubloff Trust Bequest from 1991, and it is displayed in Gallery 161 of American Art.
