Now that I'm in a larger house, I needed a larger, more adaptable enclosure and thus the "A Better Lack Enclosure" was born!\r\n\r\nAs a 3D printer owner with multiple tools, I know how challenging it can be to find a versatile enclosure system. That's why I created the ABLE system - to allow users like me to build custom and expandable enclosures that fit their specific needs.\r\n\r\nThe only additional tool required is something to cut 2x4s into 1.25" square dowels. I used a tablesaw and trimmed down some 2x4s with normal dimensions of 1.5"x3.5". This makes the ABLE system about the same price or maybe even less expensive than the Prusa LACK table system. I built the table in the image for around $50.\r\n\r\nThis 90 Degree Spool Holder utilizes 608 bearings and 7mm shafts, which are the same components used in the Prusa MMU2s.\r\n- The removable body at the bottom is designed to allow easy removal and installation of the spool holder without needing access to the end of the 1.25" support beam.
