Thus, the "A Better Lack Enclosure" was created. As many 3D printer owners know, having multiple tools is common. If you have a table saw, this connector system allows you to build a custom and expandable enclosure tailored specifically for your area and printer. The possibilities are endless, with no limitations on combinations and sizes of enclosures or tables. The only additional tool needed to build using this system is something to cut 2x4s into 1.25-inch square dowels. I used a table saw to trim down some 2x4s that were initially 1.5 by 3.5 inches in size. This made the ABLE system about as affordable or even less expensive than the Prusa LACK table system. My table, shown in an image, was built for around $50.
