Abl First Draft
sketchfab
Model of Abelson Tyrosine Kinase - A Detailed Representation. This model depicts one monomer of the homodimer, with a bound variant of STI-571 inhibitor, as originally crystallized. The majority of the structure is represented in cartoon format, while the active site is showcased using ribbon representation, highlighting key residues and their structural arrangements. The full structure of the inhibitor is displayed in bright red color. Residues primarily involved in van der Waals interactions with the inhibitor are colored grey, those participating in hydrogen bonding with the inhibitor appear in yellow (blue dashed lines representing the actual hydrogen bonds), a critical residue in interaction with the inhibitor is marked in cyan, and the activation loop is depicted in magenta. Furthermore, a meshwork of the active site surrounding the inhibitor is visible. Note: Key residues were labeled using PyMol but not successfully transferred to Sketchfab. Additionally, PyMol failed to display all hydrogen bonds associated with crucial residues; as a result, they were omitted.
