This pulse motor was designed for the "Pulse Motor Build Off" found at open-source-energy.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=575. After trying a bedini circuit, I succeeded with my final result showcased in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z7JODtxlz4. The torus was printed at 25% infill, while the rest of the parts were printed at 35%. Ensure support is set to "everywhere" for the torus and "exterior only" for the frame. The trigger coil's size allows for a BIC pen to be used as its bobbin spindle. Magnets snap fit into the rotor pockets, but an access hole would have been helpful for reinsertion. No glues were needed during assembly; however, a 608 ball bearing, six stainless steel nuts and washers, four neodymium magnets, 200+ feet of 24-gauge magnet wire, and a pulsing circuit (like the bedini) are required.
