Abe is a stalwart member of the resourceful and resilient Mudokon race, thriving in the rugged environment of the distant planet known as Oddworld. As a diligent laborer and slave at Rupture Farms, a behemoth meat processing company, Abe toils alongside his fellow Mudokons. The game unfolds when Abe stumbles upon a shocking revelation. By sheer chance, he witnesses a clandestine meeting between the cunning directors of the company, the ruthless Glukkons, who have systematically eradicated various species on the planet after exploiting them as raw material for their culinary creations. Abe is horrified upon learning that his next business proposal will be to peddle meat harvested from none other than his own Mudokon brethren.
