The dimensions of the lid are perfect in the original and match the given measurements of a standard 40-25mm cable channel. However, the cable channels themselves are not "perfect", so the noses from the cover have to withstand high pressure on both sides - which doesn't necessarily work well with PLA. I therefore moved the noses a tiny bit further towards the center and now it works perfectly for me! My suggestion would be: simply try the original and if the noses break, see if my remix works better.
