You don't like it? Nevermind, I do ;-) This big bulb is made from one single piece of material, with the bulb itself split into three separate parts that can be easily spread apart to accommodate a real functional light bulb inside. The bulb's base screws onto a genuine socket that you can find in most home improvement stores. For printing purposes, the 3 "petals" of the bulb are connected by small segments that need to be carefully cut off after the print is complete so that you can insert a standard light bulb. Without these connecting segments, the bulb would be too flexible and would likely shift around during printing, especially when using PETG filament, which has a tendency to stick to the hotend. A central support column is also required to provide stability for the most horizontal section of the bulb's top surface. Fortunately, all components fit snugly within the maximum print volume of the MicroDelta Rework (with heat bed). The socket itself needs to have an outer diameter of around 40mm on its threaded section and 58mm on its maximum diameter in order to securely connect with the bulb base.
