For All Abarth's Enthusiasts. This Print Honors the 70th Anniversary of ABARTH. Mr. Carlo Abarth founded the company in 1949 with a bold vision: building high-performance race cars based primarily on Fiat's models. The most iconic creations were the Fiat Abarth 595 SS and 695 SS, as well as the legendary Autobianchi A112 Abarth. As the founder's zodiac sign is the scorpion, this logo features various components assembled together. The main element is the badge itself (200 mm high x 180 mm wide), with spaces for other parts in different colors. The top black and white logo consists of three sections. Exceptionally, the largest part is printed "back on the mirror," while all others are printed "face on the mirror" to achieve a glossy finish. You can easily remove it using a scotch bright sponge and achieve a matte surface if desired. Without glue, it's better; however, keep an eye on smaller parts and some tricky areas that may not stick well to the mirror. Everything was printed on my stock CR10 with PLA Arianeplast filaments, using silver metallic filament for the main part. To ensure excellent adhesion without glue, I heated the bed to 72°C and the cabinet (which houses the CR10) to 27°C. The nozzle temperature was set at 220°C, with a first layer speed of 50% and height of 60%. No support is necessary, and an infill rate of around 30% works well. I used two layers for walls, four layers on top and bottom, and adjusted the speed to 55-10 mm/s depending on part size. The design was created using Solidworks, incorporating a small gap between parts for easy assembly. To add stability, I included a support consisting of three parts, which must be glued together with a M4 x 30mm screw to secure the foldable leg. As my son is an avid fan of the current Fiat 500 Abarth, I hope he'll one day own this incredible sports car, renowned for its thrilling noise. Once again, happy birthday ABARTH company, and thank you, Mr. Carlos (Karl) Abarth! Abarth is now part of the Fiat family; I hope they will permit me to share this design with fellow enthusiasts.
