For all Abarth enthusiasts, this print celebrates the 70th anniversary of ABARTH. Carlo Abarth founded the company in 1949 to build racing cars based on Fiat's vehicles. The most famous models were the Fiat Abarth 595 SS and 695 SS, as well as the legendary Autobianchi A112 Abarth. The scorpion is the zodiac sign of the founder. This logo features various components assembled together. The main part is a badge measuring 200 mm high by 180 mm wide, with spaces for other parts in different colors. The top black and white logo consists of three parts. However, the largest component should be printed "back on the mirror" to achieve this glossy finish. To cut it, use a scotch bright sponge and a mat surface will result instead of a brilliant one. Without glue is recommended but keep an eye on smaller parts and specific areas that are difficult to stick to the mirror. Everything was printed using my CR10 stock with PLA Arianeplast filaments. The main part was printed with silver metallic filament. To ensure good adhesion without glue, the bed temperature was set at 72°C and the cabinet temperature at 27°C. The nozzle temperature was 220°C, the first layer speed was 50% and the height was 60%. No support is needed; infill can be around 30%, and I used two layers for walls. Four layers were applied to the top and bottom, with a speed of 55-10 mm/s depending on the size of the parts. The design was created using Solidworks, including a small gap between components for easier assembly. A support made of three parts was added; the small bottom part must be glued together, and a M4 x 30mm screw is used to secure the foldable leg. My son is an avid fan of the current Fiat 500 Abarth, and I hope he'll be able to purchase one in the future. This sports car is truly fantastic with its unique noise.
