Abandoned vessels, Poole

Two weathered vessels lay half-submerged in the mud just north of the iconic Twin Sails bridge in Poole, Dorset. Positioned directly opposite the state-of-the-art RNLI shipyard, a nagging suspicion arises that the larger vessel may be an abandoned lifeboat from the mid-20th century. This model marks a revisit to two of my earliest Sketchfab uploads, utilizing the same high-resolution UAV data captured in 2016 but now processed with the latest Metashape software. The resulting image quality has noticeably improved. The area is notorious for its grim conditions, as it was once home to the long-demolished Poole chemical works.
