The Last Trolley Built in Massachusetts - MBTA 3321 Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's fleet includes the MBTA 3299 and 3321, two "PCC" cars constructed in 1951 by Pullman-Standard of Worcester, Massachusetts. These trolley cars were originally built for the Metropolitan Transit Authority, which later merged to become the MBTA. The vehicles ran exclusively on Boston's streets from their introduction in 1951 until their retirement in 1985, serving primarily along what is now known as the Green Line route.
