Abandoned Ferry Dice Tower, Post Apocalyptic/ Gaslands

Abandoned Ferry Dice Tower, Post Apocalyptic/ Gaslands

thingiverse

Post-apocalyptic, abandoned/beached ferry terrain, roughly 1/64 to 1/72 scale, yet slightly undersized in comparison to an actual car ferry. This miniature landscape doubles as a functional dice tower, featuring storage for dice on the rear deck and token storage in the balcony-like structures. The voids within the hull are designed to be filled with any heavy, sound-dampening material preferred by the user. I opted for random nuts and bolts secured with caulk in the superstructure's negative spaces, complemented by poured plaster inside the hull. The combined weight and subtle softness significantly reduce sound levels. To create a seamless appearance, the ferry deck is carefully based to conceal the texture disparity between the plaster and less-detailed sections of the junk/dirt drifts. Printed without supports, the hull exhibits minor imperfections in certain areas, but this adds to its ruined aesthetic.
