This Structure, situated in Leipzig, Germany, presented a formidable challenge. Not only was it larger than any other building I had scanned to date - its intricate shape, with remarkably long sides and a yard that proved particularly difficult to capture, added an extra layer of complexity. Equipped with a Mavic 2 Pro drone and utilizing DroneHarmony for a bespoke flight path, I successfully captured the structure's likeness. Subsequently, RealityCapture was employed to generate both a 150 million-poly and a 550K poly version, followed by a transition from high to low detail via normal maps. Finally, roughness and metalness maps were computed using ShaderMap4. The resulting model comprises a 1.55 million poly FBX file, accompanied by 36 4K and eight 8K textures.
