Housed in the Larnaka District Archaeological Museum, Cyprus, where it can be viewed by the public. Excavated by the Athienou Archaeological Project team members with expertise and care. Dimensions are H: 9 cm, W: 9 cm, T: 2.5 cm. Weight is Wt: 0.12 kg, a relatively small amount of material used in its creation. The context for this artifact is the Sanctuary of Athienou-Malloura, Cyprus, where it was found in a disturbed state within a modern looter's pit (EU 10/SU 1099.061). Dating back to CA II, the period spanning ca. 525 – 500 BCE, when this fragment would have been used for its intended purpose. Equipment used for scanning and imaging includes an HDI Advanced R1X Scanner from GoMeaure3D and a Canon Rebel T5 EOS 1200D (18 megapixels), both contributing to the creation of FlexScan3D.
