The Over-Life-Size Calf of Cypriot Herakles is identified as AAP-AM-120+775. This artifact can be accessed at https://opencontext.org/subjects/d26d8a2a-9e73-47b3-8812-42d7e1234b44. The publication is open access and available on https://thedigitalpress.org/vvp/. The material used to create the calf is limestone, which is housed at the Larnaka District Archaeological Museum in Cyprus. The excavation was conducted by the Athienou Archaeological Project. The measurements of the calf are H: 32.7 cm, W: 15.8 cm, and T: 17 cm, with a weight of 2 kg. The context in which it was found is the Sanctuary of Athienou-Malloura in Cyprus. AAP-AM-120 was discovered in ancient tumble from the southern and eastern sections of the peribolos during the Hellenistic-Roman phase of the sanctuary, possibly originally built into the wall (EU 10/SU 1038). AAP-AM-775 was found in a disturbed level consisting of plow zone and modern looter pits (EU 92/SU 9200). The date of this artifact is CA II-CC I, approximately 500 – 450 BCE. It was scanned using the HDI Advanced R1X Scanner from GoMeaure3D, accompanied by a Canon Rebel T5 EOS 1200D with 18 megapixels. This scan was created with FlexScan3D.
