The DRDO-developed AAD missile is India's endoatmospheric terminal phase ballistic missile interceptor, functioning alongside the high-altitude intercepting Prithvi Air Defense system for a two-tiered missile defense. The single-stage solid fuel AAD can reach speeds of Mach 4.5 within a 30km range and is equipped with adjustable control vanes; it is part of India's advanced air defense strategy. Originally designed in TrueSpace6.6 and converted for use in Blender 2.66a, the missile's 2K texture/bump maps are compatible with a variety of file formats including cob, blender, 3ds, obj, dxf, direct x, dae, and fbx.
