AAA to AA Converter

We've all been in that frustrating situation when you're missing just one AA battery while having a stockpile of AAA batteries going to waste. Now, you can easily convert a AAA battery into an AA battery - safely and simply. This design fits perfectly under the Off The Grid theme within the access to energy framework. This product has the potential to help millions of people worldwide, especially those who lack basic energy capabilities, making it a top candidate for the "Off The Grid" theme. IKEA's Democratic Design principles: Form: This is an elegant and simple design that features a clean snap-in feature. Since it consists of two parts with easy printing options, you can customize the colors to your liking. Perhaps a combination of iconic yellow and blue? Function: We've all been in a situation where we're out of AA batteries (I counted last week - it happened five times to me personally), but we have plenty of AAA batteries to use. This product not only saves a trip to the store but also gives another purpose to an AAA battery, providing a simple solution to a common problem. Quality: If handled correctly, this product will last forever. You can simply twist and pull off the two parts, then insert a new AAA battery when needed. Sustainability: I firmly believe that this product has the potential to make a significant impact on people's lives. It also utilizes batteries that would otherwise take up unnecessary space, providing heat, light, and power to individuals who struggle to obtain it. Low Price: On a desktop 3D printer, using an average spool of PLA filament, the two parts will cost around $0.10 combined - less than the price of a small piece of tinfoil. If this product becomes available, there would be a better substitute for the tinfoil. Printing it out would save you a whole day's trip to the store for batteries. Both AAA and AA carry 1.5 volts, but it's just the amount of "juice" they carry. This is the safest approach to do this conversion. The only downside is that the battery will last shorter because a AAA carries less "juice" than an AA battery. I created this design in Fusion 360 after countless iterations, and I'm thrilled with the result! Thanks to Myminifactory and IKEA for making this possible - I always enjoy these design challenges, and this one was especially fun. For the IKEA Off The Grid challenge.
