AAA to AA Battery Adapter using spare Computer Screws - Easy to Print
thingiverse
Use your spare computer screws as a versatile adapter for your AAA batteries, effectively reducing weight by up to 30 grams in devices that use multiple batteries. Regular AA batteries weigh around 30 grams each, while lithium-ion AAA batteries, such as Eneloop Lite, are significantly lighter at 10 or 11 grams. This battery adapter itself weighs only 4 grams, with a lightweight version coming in at just 2 grams. Its design is optimized for easy printing, requiring no supports, infills, or rafting. Simply print the adapter and screw in a spare computer screw (typically 4.3mm), and you're ready to go. Currently, three versions of this adapter are available: a short version suitable for most electronics, a light version ideal for wireless mice like the Logitech G305 or G304, and an extended version that covers nearly the entire battery length with just enough clearance to remove it. The short and light versions should suffice in 99% of cases.
