AAA Battery Holder
thingiverse
A simple, low-profile AAA battery holder.\r\nI utilize battery clips with a long edge that I use in my projects to bend them slightly so I can solder them directly onto a PCB board. Specifically designed to have an extremely low profile to conserve space (the battery will come into contact with the bottom of the PCB).\r\nYou also have a convenient means from the sides to pull out the battery for replacement.\r\n\r\nThe battery clips I used are standard ones. These are 9mm x 9mm without its connection foot. A sample can be seen here: https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Pairs-Silver-Battery-Spring/dp/B00GN3PN46\r\n\r\n\r\nYou can find the corresponding AA batteries size holder here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3115171\r\n\r\nI used PETG for this, mainly because it is more elastic and less brittle. Additionally, it is also more heat resistant (when soldering). However, This will work just fine with PLA.
