AA to 2032 Button Cell Adaptor

AA to 2032 Button Cell Adaptor

thingiverse

An adapter to let you use AA batteries in place of a 2032 button cell battery. Do not use this with devices that depend on the internal resistance of the button cell. This setup makes no effort to limit the current it provides. A resistor could be used to apply such a limitation. You'll need some stiff copper wire for the button cell part, somewhere around 24 gauge or thinner. You'll need to make two coils, one around the outer rim of the button cell and a second one around the inner spool. The one on the outer rim is your positive (anode) and the inner spool is negative (cathode). The battery pack I provide for this project expects you to use battery contacts [like sold here](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HRT71W1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but there are [other projects on this website](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2339441) that will let you build a battery pack using the same copper wire used to build the button cell.
