A Project Box with AA Battery Holder: A Convenient Solution for Small Circuit Projects. The project box features two lids, one of which has uniform thickness and another with a thinned area perfect for use with translucent filament to achieve see-through visibility. I utilized this box to encase a JouleThief and found that the thinned region allowed the LED to shine through brightly. This design makes it an ideal choice for any small circuit project that requires an AA battery. The battery clips can be easily obtained from reputable sources such as eBay, where you can purchase 10 pairs of spring battery contact plates for replacement on AA, AAA batteries. To facilitate easy removal of the battery when used as a JouleThief box, I have included a 1/2 lid that leaves the battery exposed.
