AA Fake Battery Housing

AA Fake Battery Housing

thingiverse

Replace an AA battery in a device by inserting this housing to connect it to an external power source. You'll need two: one for the positive pole and another for the negative pole of the device, typically. Simply print out this design and attach a standard M4 screw with a nut to serve as a contact - you can use the nut on the inside to secure the wire, or try any other method to connect the wire to the screw. The screw itself might be shorter than the one shown in the photo; it was an M4x30. This design is meant to print without support, provided the side with the hole faces downwards. It can be a bit fragile if squeezed in the middle, but it functions properly otherwise - most strain on this type of battery occurs along its length, not across its width. Prints in the photo were done on an Ender 3 Pro.
