AA Cell Alias Negative Connection
thingiverse
During my testing of an IoT device, I needed to take precise current measurements which demanded that I power the device from an external source. Typically, the u.u.t. is powered by two AA cells, configured to supply 3V. To achieve this, it is essential to replace the cells and attach them to the u.u.t. either with clips (which are not always the most robust) or soldering wire to the terminals on the u.u.t. I sought a less intrusive method that would enable me to mimic cell connectivity. This has the added advantage of allowing the current to be analyzed if the battery terminals are corroded or conformally coated. This is the negative connection, I'll publish the positive connection once I've printed the prototype.
