AA battery to D-cell adapter
thingiverse
To accommodate my rechargeable AA batteries and D-cell devices, I employ the AA batteries in D-cell applications by using LED camping lanterns and mattress pumps. The AA batteries' compact size allows for easy carrying and replacement when needed, although their capacity may not be as high as D-cells. In terms of my 1-inch brass paper fastener design, you can purchase a box of 100 from an office supply store for around $4. To use it, print the design (took me approximately 50 minutes), file the 4 inner supports to fit your battery, and insert the paper fastener at the top while folding the tabs using needle nose pliers. I have a few improvements in mind; however, these modifications worked perfectly for my recent weekend trip. Additionally, I uploaded d-5, which loosens the grip on the battery (untested).
