Print on the flat side! It needs a little support on the inside for the slot to push out the batteries. Designed to tight-fit the stock golden AA batteries that came with the Quest 2, found out that it may be way too tight for rechargeable AA batteries so consider scaling up if you find that my AA model size isn't quite the same as the batteries you have. My stock batteries lasted this way about 6 months, using the Quest about 2 hours per week on average. Uploading 2018 Solidwork files in case someone wants to edit. Happy questing! Haha.
