This is a battery holder for AA batteries. Electrical configuration is 3 in series. Packaging configuration is inline. Note that for batteries in series the voltage is additive, so given 1.5 V nominal per AA battery, batteries in this 3s configuration yield a nominal voltage of 4.5 V. Insert contacts 2. Solder red wire to cathode contact tab and black wire to anode contact tab 3.
