This is a battery holder for AA batteries. Electrical configuration is 3 in series. Packaging configuration is abreast. Note that for batteries in series the voltage is additive, so given 1.5 V nominal per AA battery, batteries in this 3s configuration yield a nominal voltage of 4.5 V. Insert contacts; alternate them as seen in picture 2. Solder blue wire diagonally across underside channel, and glue it in place 3.
