I opted not to splurge on the Garmin rechargeable batteries, which would've added a $30 expense, especially considering Eneloops offer superior quality. The GPS device features a black button pressed by a plastic tab in the Garmin batteries, enabling you to recharge the batteries when plugged into your computer, car, or any USB port. I crafted a small adapter that applies pressure on this button whenever the batteries are inserted. Please note that you should only use this adapter with rechargeable batteries; using non-rechargeable batteries may result in unintended consequences. By utilizing this adapter, you acknowledge responsibility for its proper usage.
