AA Battery Dispenser

AA Battery Dispenser

thingiverse

A basic AA Battery dispenser - with cutout text and viewing slot to see how many batteries are left in the dispenser. This is a 2-part design (base and stack) that holds together securely through friction alone. Although small posts and locating holes were initially included, they proved difficult to print on my printer, so I simply trimmed them off with a knife, resulting in a sturdy unit that still holds together nicely using the remaining surfaces. For some unknown reason, my printer failed to print the ramp at the bottom of the stack, despite it being present in the file. Fortunately, the dispenser still functions perfectly without this feature. As with many of my other designs, this project was completed using Sketchup Make 2017 (the free edition) and then printed in PLA using my XYZ DaVinci Jr. printer. (Apologies for the poor lighting and subpar filament color. At the time of purchase, it was a more affordable option than other XYZ Filaments available.)
