I revised this battery box, starting from Peterpur's outstanding project. I aimed to enhance its functionality and appearance. Firstly, I introduced rounded corners on top and bottom to eliminate their sharp edges. Furthermore, I added a groove for rubber bands to ensure the box stays securely closed even when it's being carried in a backpack. To further refine the design, I aligned the exterior shape with the battery's contours, but this modification only serves an aesthetic purpose, with no practical implications. The updated version was published on September 26th, incorporating two additional improvements: elliptical side holes to prevent overhanging during printing and enlarged battery compartments for enhanced clearance. Notably, the box's cover and exterior dimensions remain unchanged. When inserting batteries, it's advisable to orient them with their positive terminal facing upwards when fully charged and downwards when they require recharging. This simple approach streamlines battery management.
