AA_Battery_box
thingiverse
I needed a design that was easy to print, strong and protective as well as compact and that didn't require magnets or moving parts. yes, is made of two pieces. This first model holds 4 batteries as the packages are often composed of that number of batteries and the boxes are not reusable. tips for the printing slicer (CURA) i used: if you using 0.6 extrusion width nozzle avoid infill and use 2 walls, but i suggest for less time on post processing using on movements "avoid printed parts when travelling". Curiosity about the model: Battery's holes are 15.5mm in order to avoid battery jam. The model has a clearance of 0.3mm per side, but it is possible that it is necessary to reprint the cap for a solid fit but also that it can be opened. Be sure your printer is well calibrated, maybe you need to adjust the X/Y expansion in the slicer. Good Print
